Get off at Metro Station Gare St Agne, then walk down Avenue Jules Julien for about 1 km. The highway entrance is at your left after you've crossed the bridge over the highway.
You might also get a ride into the other direction of the highway before that bridge.

-Get off at the metro station Saint-Agne (line B, last stop).
-Take left avenue Pierre Latécoère (note that it probably won't be indicated, anyway, just follow the blue signs). Walk about 1km.
-First roundabout, take right, and always keep your right, walking another kilometer, until you arrive at the toll.
My personal opinion: starting from the roundabout, some might discuss the legality of the situation, but if you keep walking on the other side of the barrier (not on the very road), there won't be any problem. I've done it MANY times, this is where I've sent all my hhers, and things have always been fine. OK, it a bit of a walk, but this is just the ultimate spot: ALL the cars using the highway have to spot there to take the entrance ticket, and simply can't miss you.
